Im sure this comes way later than last answer, but going through same thing. I am now 35. 2 years ago I was diagnosed major endometrosis after 6 years of issues, constant trips to doctors and 3 ambulance trips to ER.  It was crazy. But was able to grapple my weight. After surgery and inability to take hormone replacers I have found myself struggling with a 27# weight gain. I can get down to 202 but it feels like just over night I put back on 25 pounds. I eat right @ first 6 very small meals a day to an awe hell forget it, and back to 3 meals with water no fruit juices nor carbonated beverages. I look at my daughter and think what kind of example am I setting. This is frustrating in more ways than one. So ladies ... you are soooo not alone.

I tried hcg since p90x, bike riding, and jogging wasnt working.  Disappointed as usual.  I work out to gain more slowly.  I can't lose weight no matter what and have gained 43 lbs.  I drink water and add EVERYTHING to an online diary.  Every calorie is counted....even gum.  I am currently 33 and had my surgery 2 yrs ago.  I literally thought I was insane and alone in my issues since the dr seems to dismiss me.  If I skip even a day of constant calculations I seem to gain.  I am so frustrated.

I went from a size 14 to a 4 - 6 doing HCG. I know it works. I got my partial hysterectomy last week. I am getting married in May 2013 and must be able to get into the dress. I am so glad you mentioned HCG. I know it to be a winner.

SO, I am not losing my mind!!! I had a partial hysterectomy last November. I have no regrets regarding the surgery as my fibroids had doubled in both size and number. My uterus weighed 2 1/2 pounds and was putting incredible pressure on my bladder. Not to mention that I looked 4/5 months preggers. Now eight months later, I have gained 10-15 unexplained pounds and am constantly struggling to not gain any more. I have always exercised, I continue to eat smart, but  have had no luck losing. I assumed since my ovaries were left in tact I wouldn't have these types of issues. I don't exhibit any signs of menopause yet. Not too bad with PMS. Sex is great - even better. I am just so discouraged with my changing weight/shape. I am so glad I found this website. It is not all in my mind!! Hang in there ladies. I have an appt. with my OGYN soon and will see how she reacts to my issues.

I had a partial hysterectomy 5 years ago due to endometriosis and I am now 40. I too have put on 40 lbs and I am the heaviest I've been ever! I work out every day: cardio, p90x, insanity, zumba, kickboxing.... You kname it I do it. I drink lots of water, but the loss is very small and discouraging. To top it off, I still get a monthly 'cycle' so I still have extreme menstrual cramps, breast tenderness and back pain. If I could turn time back, I would never have this surgery. It was the worst mistake I made.
