i am not losing weight

I started dieting on an 800 calorie diet for 3-4 weeks, I've managed to lose 20 lbs (im now 201-203 lbs from 224)
I gained 80lbs from depression/anxiety in 1 year (yes, i know.)
I drink diet soda and reset my 800 calories at 6 PM every day never going over that limit
I checked myself in the scale yesterday and I weighed 200.96 pounds, now today I weigh 203 pounds. The first week I lost 10 lbs and 3 the following 2-3 weeks. (the problem is i am not losing weight)
I need to lose this weight.
pls help me

I think you need to reevaluate your weight loss goals.  Most health professionals recommend losing between 1-2 pound per week for healthy weight loss.

My personal opinion is that your calorie count is too low.  In my personal experience losing weight on a very low calorie diet is extremely difficult (and isn't healthy and isn't sustainable long-term).

I would recommend you check out the doctor's first blog here to get some tips on how to lose weight.

Another good way to burn calories (and improve mood) is to exercise.

Deciding to make changes is half the battle.  Don't be discouraged by where you're at now.  Most people's weight will fluctuate during a weight loss program.  You may also like to measure your progress in other ways such as how your clothes fit or how you feel.

Make good, informed decisions, persevere and you'll get there.

Good luck!

Skyler, it's unclear to me what your optimal weight might be without knowing your height.

But keep in mind that it's easiest to lose the first 10% of your body weight, and then your metabolism tends to slow down...I suggest that you add some exercise to your regimen and also try to cut down on your diet soda.  I agree with Jaquta that 800 calories may be a bit too strict - I imagine that you could increase your calorie intake but with a reasonable exercise program continue to lose weight at a safe rate over the long term.
