Well its working for me - keeping a closer eye on myself - thsi is week 9 of my weigh loss journey and I have lsot more weight than I did in week 1 :)
I've been weighing myself a few extra times these past two weeks since I am not on track with exercising the way I want to since "life" keeps interfering. I am freaking out that I am going to gain it all back and have to re-assure myself that I am still "OK". I managed to do a workout tonight so that's a good thing!
Ohhh it is sooo much easier to have a partner on this journey - well done you - and it's funny but I have now tried not weighing daily and I couldn't lose weight - its all mind over matter and I need that daily fear lol.
Lol I have a partner in my journey, My cousin. We officially weigh every Monday... she doesn't know that i actually weigh every morning. I have to!
I have also added the food tracker - it isnt an exact science - especially with home made foods... but it gives me a good idea....
Like Tigerlily said, whatever works best for you. ^_^ I think everyone has something that they need to have direct control over on a constant basis. For me it's checking my bank account often. I tend to spend more money when I don't look at my balance every couple of days.
Hey, whatever works is good. At least you haven't decided to ignore the fact that it's not working so that you can continue to indulge. This is the right thing for you to do. Good for you!
