You might want to take a look at the thyroid community, here on MH. There's a ton of information on there about dealing with thyroid issues.
Could you get your doctor to do the Free T4 and Free T3 tests to see what your actual thyroid hormone levels are? They can be out of whack, even with TSH in range, and if they are not right for you, weight loss will be almost impossible.
Is TSH the only thing you are being tested for, in regards to your thyroid? What about the actual hormones, Free T3 and Free T4?
What's your diet and exercise routine like?
my results :
K 5.0
TSH 0.95
I have a thyroid, but it's "dead" due to Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, so we're basically in the same boat.
The only thing I'd assume, is that you are on thyroid replacement hormone. Do you have thyroid blood work regularly to make sure your levels are good?
Many times, those of us who have hypothyroidism (no matter what the cause), have problems losing weight -- yes, I've been down that road, in fact, am still traveling it, but am finally making progress. Many times, if we are under medicated, even if thyroid hormone levels are "in range", losing weight is almost impossible. I was under medicated for a long time, so I understand how hard it can be.
