Let us know how you get along.
okay thank you (; I will get it checked out ;p
If you are watching portion sizes and getting adequate exercise, but still not losing weight, I might suggest that you track your measurements to see if it's a matter of building muscle or if something else could be wrong.
You might want to have some simple blood tests to determine if you have a medical condition that is preventing you from losing weight. The 3 that come to mind are hypothyroidism, insulin resistance and/or PCOS. All 3 of those can cause weight gain or inability to lose.
To test for hypothyroidism, you need Free T3, Free T4 and TSH.
thanks for the clarification about muscle. any suggestions on how to lose weight. I cant seem to drop even with a good diet & exercise ?
Muscular people don't necessarily weigh more than regular built, nor does muscle weigh more than fat........ a pound is a pound, no matter what it consists of...... muscle is denser (more tightly packed) than fat, so doesn't take up as much space.
You can be staying the same weight and building muscle, but still getting smaller.......
As you may already know muscular people way a little more than regular built people as muscles way more than fat so you may just be gaining new muscle growth if you are not eating anything that you normally don't
