Losing 20kg in 6 months -possible?

Hey am bill a 22 year old. I currently weigh 96.3kg and I need to be under 75kg to be normal weight ( calculated based on my height)
This issue is starting to bug me and even affect my confidence. Am in college living on campus hence not on a budget to afford the sort of expensive healthy lifestyle but I am slowly incorporating the cheaper aspects like drinking water 2L a day. I wanna be 75 by the end of this year. Please help?

Hi
I would advise you to follow a normal diet routine with gym workout. You will on an average lose 1 - 1.5 kg weight every month. Some months you will lose more, some months the loss will be zero or minimal.

But on an average you will lose 1 - 1.5 kg weight.

So to lose around 21 kgs it will be around 12 - 14 months.

Foods to avoid:

1. Fried food
2. Alchoholic beverages
3. Cold drinks (Coke, Sprite, Thums up,etc)
4. Sweets

I would suggest the following diet plan with a 45 minute workout

Morning:
1 cup tea with 1 - 1.5 tbsp sugar and toast (no butter on the toast)
OR
1 cup tea with khakra

10:00 AM
Any fruit of your choice (banana, watermelon, a cup of grapes)

1:00 AM
1 bajri rotla + 1 sabzi
OR
2 small chapattis and a sabzi + chaas

4:00 AM
1 brown bread sandwitch without butter

include:
coriander chutney
tomato ketchup (2-3 tablespoon)
lettuce
capsisums (green, red, yellow)

8:00 PM
Any soup of your choice (tomato, sweet corn)
+ salad (I prefer capsicum, onion, carrots in the salad with salt and pepper)

+ 45 minutes of workout - workout should include weight training and cardio

Be patient - weight loss will take time but will happen healthily and you will enjoy your food as well.

Drink the water and watch your portion sizes.  Opt for veggies, whenever possible and always have protein with every meal/snack, as that will fill you up and keep you fuller longer, as will a bit of healthy fat, such as coconut or olive oil.

I just started doing yoga! To deal with stress since we all know it's not thin friendly! Try it :) it helps
And I exercise whenever I can!
Note: Do not enter the gym.. if you can't continue you'll gain twice the weight
Oh and the key is to keep calm and carry on.. it doesn't matter if you don't lose weight instantly.. take baby steps!
Good luck ^^
