Welcome. WenDDarling gave you some great suggestions. A loss of 1-2 pounds/week is the healthiest way to lose weight, so you are doing great. I might add, that it may be helpful if your start a food journal to keep track of what you eat so you can pick out habits that might need to be changed. There are several websites on which you can keep a food journal or even just start a journal here on MedHelp; I also understand that MedHelp is coming out with a food journal in the near future...
Make sure you get plenty of exercise - it will not only help burn calories, but it will help give you more energy.

1-2lbs a week is a great average when trying to lose weight! Its the healthiest pace... keep in mind the faster you lose weight the faster you will gain it back if you give up or just stop your activity and or dieting. Keep up the good work... make sure to consume atleat 1800 calories a day... you don't want your body to store fat becasue it thinks it wont get another meal. Eat small meals every 2-3 hours and keep up the good work with excersizing but make sure to give your body a day of rest as to let your muscles heal.
