I agree with allmymarbles - check with your doctor to make sure you don't have an over active thyroid. That can keep you from gaining weight and can also be a health threat if not curtailed.
If thyroid tests (TSH, Free T4 and Free T3) come back "normal", then I'd ask my doctor to look elsewhere for problems.......
But it would be a good idea to try the Boost or other high calorie drinks. But also make sure that you are eating a healthy diet, including plenty of fruits, veggies, lean meats, dairy, and good fats......
You might check with your doctor to find out if you are hyperthyroid (have an overactive thyroid gland). That would explain the low weight. I come from a large and slender family and none of us put on weight except when we are pregnant. I have a brother who was abnormally thin, like you, when he was younger. He weighed 116 pounds and was 5'10." He had all sorts of tests, but was found to be perfectly healthy. That was long ago. Perhaps the tests are better now. When I had young children I got plenty of exercise, so I don't think working out will help. In fact it might make you lose more weight. Do you get enough rest? Do you take in enough calories? Is the rest of your family thin?
I wish I had your problem however I was thin just a few years ago...
My Mother was very thin for years...our old General MD, told her to drink "cream in gingerale" she did that for years..
I would suggest drinking a high calorie supplement such as "Boost" or a similar Hi Cal
drink...eat more carbs,
I know you must be running around with two children and buring it off quickly...however
eat healthy carbs, snack bars, between meals..and the drinks...
Be thankful you are thin...one day you will just put it on without trying...
Good Luck to you!

I dont know about the pills but you really need to put on the weight in muscle. Kids or not, you need to work out. Not so much running because thats more of a toner rather than a muscle builder. Lift weights, sit ups, push ups, you get it.
Ill gladly give you some of my weight!
