I like to measure my success as to how my clothes fit. And if I can fit into my skinny clothes. Also. I agree with the ladies above. Learning to be fit and eating right is a lifestyle change. You pick up good habits that you can live with. One for me is to eat fresh vegetables in my salad everyday. And skip the bad salad dressings. A little balsamic vinegar is tasty and easy to get used to. Then every once and awhile when you're at your goal weight you can splurge and have a little Cesar's dressing. But I always put it on the side.
i'm sure we all know that 10 pounds in a month is a hard task. that does not mean that it is un doable. if you eat 1,300-1,500 calories a day of fruit and veggies, and are doing cardio 5X a week along with strength training 4X a week you could probably reach your goal.. but overall the point is not to lose weight, the point is to live a happier healthier lifestyle where you are more confident with the way your body looks not what is on the scale
Safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs/week, so it's feasible to lose 10 lbs in a month. Whether it's healthy or not, depends on how you do it. If you simply calculate your daily caloric needs and cut your intake to that, eating healthy food and getting a reasonable amount of exercise, then it's healthy. If you're going to take drugs or weight loss supplements and try starving yourself, it won't be healthy.
