5"7'=67 inches overall. According to the BMI chart, 143 lbs. is normal. If you were over 153 lbs, you'd be overwieght. If you were over 185 lbs, you'd be obese. If you were over 249 lbs, you'd be extremely obese. You're only 13, you shouldn't be worried about your weight unless you're in the obese range.
I was 143 at age 13, and I, too, felt I was fat. Now that I'm much older, I can see that I was comparing myself to my friends who were much shorter and had small, slight builds. Look at your heritage. If you come from European heritage, you may well have a larger build or just be taller than your friends. My point is to not compare yourself to others. Focus on health, not weight alone. Are you active? Do you dance, run, play any sport, ride a bicycle, walk up stairs, take hikes, swim or play on a team? Activity and good food, and a positive attitude contributes most to your health. Never compare yourself to others and especially NOT to teen/women's magazines. (It's a trap!) All those girls/women have personal trainers, nutritionists, workout for hours to maintain an image, and use special photography effects to make them look "perfect". Your inner beauty and health comes from within you. Focus on health, not weight alone. I agree with "evewisewoman". See your doctor and a nutritionist/dietician to determine what, if ANYTHING, needs to be done. Just be you and acknowledge yourself for being beautiful JUST THE WAY YOU ARE and just the way you are not. Be your best self. I also wish you WELL!

Hello there,
Before you start any diet, it is really important to discuss this with
your family doctor. Being as you're only 13, I would talk about your
concerns with your parents or caretaker. Have someone take you
to the doctor appointment. You see your doctor has your medical
history. Your family doctor can advise you best and maybe even
come up with a food plan for you. Don't try and do this on your own.
Consult your family doctor. I wish you well. Eve
