Sorry, didn't mean to sound like a smart aleck.. You can't spot lose weight, but you can tone your whole body, which will also help lose the tummy.
If your doctor has given you a clean bill of health and permission to begin exercising again, I'd strongly recommend yoga and walking. Both are excellent forms of exercise and will help take off weight and tone your muscles, which always makes us look taller and slimmer. Neither yoga nor walking require any special equipment, except maybe a dvd or two for the yoga and a good safe place to walk.
Make sure you're keeping calories in check, you can calculate how many you should have daily (or I can help you, if you like). Get high quality, lean protein (meats, fish, chicken, dairy (including milk, yogurt, cheese, et), eggs, nuts/seeds (including nut butters, but watch those as they have a lot of fat), beans, lentils and whole grains, with every single meal/snack. For instance a good snack is an apple with 2 tblsp peanut butter.
A serving of meat is typically, about the size of a deck of cards. You can load your plate with, pretty much, as many veggies as you can eat, so long as you don't put fattening sauces on them. Switch to whole grain breads, pastas, etc and limit them. Use brown rice instead of white, sweet potatoes instead of white. Avoid sugary or artificially sweetened drinks, including diet sodas, and as much processed food as you can.
I knew that....I mean are there certain things I can do for my tummy since I did have a c section
Healthy diet and moderate exercise are best.
