Stick to the basic food group you will not go wrong. I just started my new way of eating 9/25/2013 and have list 12 pounds..
The biggest thing is not to "eat foods" to help you loose weight, but to cut out such simple things as pop, chips, coffee with tons of cream and sugar. Another way to eat better is to remember this, when you go shopping shop on the OUTSIDE of the grocery store. Almost everything that is processed is in the middle.
Almost any kind of vegetable, except for the starchy ones, such as corn, peas, etc.
Along with veggies, opt for lean protein, such as that from low/no fat dairy, meat, eggs, beans, etc. Opt for whole grains, rather than refined grains. Avoid as much processed food as possible.
