Hi,
Losing 15Ibs in 2 weeks, would be incredibly unhealthy. The recommended pounds you should lose a week is 1-2pounds.

Not only is it not healthy, it's not necessary.  I'm going to tell you about the hard lesson I learned.

I'm 5'6 and 47 years old.  Most of my adult life my weight was between 140-150.  I somewhat obsessed over my weight and worked out seven days a week and usually ate a healthy diet.  I constantly thought I needed to lose weight.  I would avoid going places like events and parties I was invited to because I always felt that people looked at me with disgust because of my "weight".  I didn't see others that way, just myself.  Then about five years ago I began to have serious health problems.  I had surgery a few times with a long recovery period each time, was prescribed many different meds, and I was unable to exercise at all.  I steadily gained weight.  I ended up weighing almost 210 pounds, and at that point I stopped weighing myself.  I had to keep buying bigger clothes even though I could barely afford to, so they weren't the nicest, most stylish clothes.  For about a year now I've been on a slow road to recovery and very slowly losing some weight.  Looking back at pictures of myself and seeing the clothes I used to wear, I realize now that my opinions about myself and my weight were ridiculous and cost me many years of feeling good about myself.  It was a tough way to learn a lesson, but it is a lesson I have learned.  I will never get down to my previous weight, and I'm completely fine with that.  If you want to lose some weight, do it the right way without causing yourself to suffer.  Eat and exercise in a way that will also improve your health.  But love and accept yourself just the way you are right now.  Find the right clothes for your figure, instead of focusing on what you can't wear.  If you are concerned about how you look in a bathing suit, find one that's right for you and also get a cute/flattering coverup.  Please don't make the mistake I made.  I wish I could have those years back.  I would spend my time enjoying life instead of worrying about a number on a scale!  That was such a waste of time!  :)

Hello there,

It would be really dangerous to you to lose that much weight, ie 15 lbs
in 2 weeks.  A good amount of weight is about 2 lbs per week.
The middle of August is about 4 weeks away.  Even in 4 weeks, unless
you go on what I would call a drastic diet or a starvation diet which would
probably put your body in shock, you can't lose 15 lbs in a healthy way.
Some people might think that if you drastically reduce your calorie
intake, the weight will just fall off you. This is not true. Actually, if you
drastically reduce your calorie intake, your body thinking its not going to
get food, goes into something called starvation mode and holds on to
every calorie. This is real. This isn't an exaggeration.
I would suggest making an appointment with your family doctor to
discuss a realistic weight loss and a possible new food plan to achieve
this new realistic goal. Losing 15 lbs in 2 weeks is not realistic and
can put your health in jeopardy, big time. I wish you well. Eve
