Hey! I am new here but not to losing weight. I find good snack are very important at lease to me. I'm up at 4 A.M. to get ready for work. So it's a long day for me without them,I always have a apple cut up with a little lemon juice so it don't turn color or fresh pineapple any fruit is good. string cheese reduce fat,or a Tostadas with a wedge of weight watchers cheese some days I need the crunch and this works. Meals I plan on weekend and cook so I can just grab and go in the morning for my lunches,and plan and freeze suppers for the week. I drink lots of water or flavored seltzer water nothing added. unsweetened ice tea black,white, peach or green.I am down 36 lbs so far so this is working for me,I walk everyday an try to get 10,000 steps a day. Agree with Barb135. Eat healthy whole foods, rather than junk/processed/convenience foods. You can eat a lot, if you eat that way. Plan ahead for your snacks and take healthy snack items with you to work or wherever you go. Eat adequate protein, and that will help you keep a stable blood sugar level. It's when the blood sugar dips that you tend to get hungry between meals. Including healthy fats like olive oil in your meals will also help you go longer until you need a snack.
Out of curiosity, how did you lose the weight? And congrats, BTW.
Meal ideas would have to depend on what you like and what's available in your area. Just make sure you eat lots of veggies and protein.
Snacking doesn't have to be bad -- keep carrot and celery sticks or fruit (apples, pears, etc) on hand to grab instead of the chips.
