I have it too, and it is quite agressive. My dr IS super supportive though, & has prescribed metformin to help hormone suppression: however I AM also seeing a dietician, who has me on a calorie controlled diet (1400 cals a day). Those calories must be proper foods, solid meals & healthy snacks. I've found that calorie control is the only way I can successfully lose weight: however 'reverting' will result in mammoth weight gain in record timing, so vigilance and self control is paramount (both of which I have in short supply).
I was told I had pcos at 25 and the doc told me that the best result will be following diabetic diet and life style to loose weight. She also sugested vitrex or chaste tree extract. But it wont cure you but just help u balance hormone. Its a lige style change.
When I was in college, my OB found out that I have PCOS and just the last 3 months I was operated and my left ovary was removed because of an ovarian cyst.
