skin

i'm 17 and i've been overweight my whole life, not extremely except for the past four years. my mom passed when i was 13 and in the four years since then i went from around 190 to 285 due to coping with food and lack of motivation but i am ready to make a change. i was wondering if i get back to 150 or so in the next year-2 years if my skin will shrink back relatively well or if i will have a lot of extra skin.

Losing weight more slowly will allow your skin to shrink, but there's still a chance that you will have some extra skin.

Don't let that scare you away from losing, though, because you'll be much healthier in the long run.

Best of luck to you and do stick around a let us know how you're doing, or if there's something we can do to help you.
