Just eliminating soda from your diet will go a long way toward losing weight. You don't have to quit all at once... just start slow and replace one soda/day with a glass of water. Once you're comfortable with that, replace another soda each day with water. Continue until water is your drink of choice. I'm not real fond of plain water, so I keep fresh lemons in the fridge and I drop a lemon wedge/slice into my glass.
If you read the link provided above, you will see that beef is not on it and beans and broccoli are hard to digest only because of the fiber. If you add fiber slowly, you shouldn't have any problems with any of those foods. Your ultimate goal should be 25-30 grams of fiber/day.
Thanks for the info... I actually started drinking more water a few days ago... Have always been a big soda drinker... it has been difficult but I will keep at it...
I'm a semi pro mma fighter so I know a lot about weight cutting. NO CARBS IN THE EVENING. LOTS OF WATER
Pork and beef are no harder to digest than any other meat, plus they are the best sources of vitamin B12 and iron and excellent sources of lean protein.
You should talk to your doctor about getting some simple blood tests done to check your thyroid function. The thyroid controls metabolism, so if the thyroid becomes under active, it will be difficult to impossible to lose weight. Ask for the following tests: TSH, Free T3 and Free T4. Don't let them get by with just a TSH.
Green tea speeds up your metabolism like mad, 5 cups a day. Or if you don't like the taste get the capsules. Grapefruit also helps. The golden rule. Take heed! Morning, eat like a king, lunch, eat like a queen, dinner, eat like a poorper.
Cut all carbs out after 5pm as your body won't burn them when you rest. High protein diet, ie fish, chicken. Try to avoid pork and beef as it takes a long time to digest... And drink LOTS OF WATER.
