smaller waist???

I am currently struggling with the shape of my body, and cannot seem to change it.  I am 5 5", and weigh about 130 lbs.  So, I am not overweight, and seem to have a healthy BMI, but i'm not satisfied with the shape of my body.  I have a 36" bust, as well as 36" hips, but my waist is 29".  I notice that alot of people my size that don't weigh less than me, but look soooo much slimmer because they have these small waists, and more prominent hips and butts.  I've tried all kinds of exercise.  I'm in pretty good shape, and run 3 miles everyday, as well as often walking several miles in addition.  I do sit-ups, leg lifts, ball exercises.  I just feel like there is something I don't know about.  I have that my body resembles a rectangle with larger breasts, and a small butt.  please help me, all kinds of advice are welcome.
p.s, i already eat very healthy..plenty of water, fruits and veggies and all that...

36-29-36 .. hmmm .. sounds like a perfect shape to me!  

With all due respect, and the very best intentions, may I suggest a couple of things for you to think about.

1.  Talk to your doctor and/or physical therapy instructor and obtain their opinions.  Believe they will give you an honest viewpoint medically and physically and, if they feel you could benefit from toning, they may suggest a strengthening/shaping type of exercise, more spot specific.

2.  I urge  you to consider allowing yourself to accept your body shape.  In essence, you have an hour-glass shape that many people would be thrilled to have.  Celebrate your curves and the uniqueness of YOU!  We are each blessed with individuality and that is truly what makes us so special!  Can you imagine if we all looked like Barbie and Ken?  Sometimes, our vision of our self gets clouded and we may not be the best judge of our proportions.

3.  With any exercise, mix it up.  Pilates and yoga help build, strengthen and lengthen our core muscles.

I will admit i didnt read your whole post but as a woman who can appreciate other women's  body, I think same bust as hips in HOT! your itty bitty waist sounds like you look perfect!
