weight loss/diest/exercise - advice please!

im a male and im 22 years old, im 5'10 and weigh 22 stones and 7 lbs

for the past 3 weeks i have been exercising every day, and have been on a liquid diet, where i am having 1 slimfast milkshake as my daily meal, in the first 2 weeks i noticed that i had lost just over a stone as i was originally 23 1/2, but in the third week i have noticed that i am not losing as much weight, i am currently doing 45 mins cardio on my treadmill, followed by 15 mins on my punch bag, and then i would do weight training for 15 mins.

i have always been over weight and its only been recently that i have been trully determined to lose weight. i have noticed that my muscles are getting bigger, and my legs smaller, but my stomach is doesnt show many signs of improvement, although leaner, it could still be alot better.i was wondering... how can i lose weight quicker, and more efficiently should i up my exercise amount? any advice would be very much appreciated. thank you

Hey tracey thanks for your thought, im currently working on sit ups, as well as abb training (even though there are no abbs there! lol) but one thing which i dont know if you have done, is go to see my doctor, she prescribed me with a drug called sibutramine, and it generally doesnt make you feel hungry, so you dont eat as much, and plus she calls you in every 2 weeks to get you weighed and see how your doing.... personally i think its better then weight watchers as its more private! i dont like talking about my weight in public so this was ideal for me! it may not be any physical help, because its down to us to be exercising.... after all it is us that wish to lose the weight! but as a mental help, it is amazing! i dont know if this helped.... but i hope it did!.... good luck! if you have any more tips etc.. please feel free to leave a message!

you shouldn't try and lose weight quicker aslong as the weight is coming off at a nice pace your fine because the quicker you lose the weight the quicker it goes back on and as for you noy losing as much weight as you were a few weeks ago its normal most people when they start to lose weight lose more weight in the first or second week than any other week after that and the reason you might not be losing as much weight is because you are now excercising which means your fat is now turning into muscle so you are losing weight but its just turning into muscle if you havent noticed your stomach shrinking try and do more sit ups to tighten it your stomach i hope this helps im just like you im 22 and 19st and  trying to find ways of losing weight so if you have any tips message me thanks and good luck
