i had an abortion two three weeks ago and i did not want to do it . but i do want to get pregnant again what sould i do how sould i go about getting pregnant again what should i do is there any thing i should do in paticular
Well, that makes 2 or 3 of us who didn't notice the old date. Being a "new" forum, I just assumed the posts would be new as well.
This was definitely my mistake for not noticing, but I don't respond to posts with hourglasses any more at all. They need to be archived. And that's probably all I should say on this topic.

Oh my goodness. This post is from 2010. LOL Sorry, I didn't notice the old date of the original post. Hopefully the young lady has found all the answers in life she needs and has gone on to a happy place for herself.

Hi there. Sweetie, I'm sorry you had to have an abortion that you didn't want. I think that sometimes when we are pregnant, our hormones make us very emotional. Then when we abort, it is again, a huge shift in hormones. And this may be contributing to your great desire to quickly have another child. I think the question would be--- what circumstances have changed so dramatically in 2 to 3 weeks that make a baby now a different story than when you had the abortion.
Most doctors recommend a period of time to resume sex after an abortion of 6 weeks or at least until you have your follow up doctor's appt. to make sure you are properly healed. you should allow your body to rest and get back to 'normal' before considering another child.
And also, as I said---- you want to make sure your emotions and hormones have normalized after the last pregnancy and termination before you make such a big decision to try to become pregnant again.

Honey why would u even put your self through this if u kno u want a child? What's kinda since does that make!? The best advice I can't give u is try getting preg the same way you got preg before.. But this time think before u do.. If ur not ready do not put yourself in stress then come on this board asking the same question again.. Take care now.. :)
I ABSOLUTELY second mjsk's advice to slow down and tell us why you had the abortion if you're in such a hurry to get pregnant again.
