2 Year old with possible hemmrroid

ni
Hello,

My son is 2.5 years old and he has always complained that his bum hurts.  This weekend I noticed that it was really bad so much that he could not sit right.  He was leaning to the side.  So, while changing him I had him push a little like he was taking a poop and I saw something red to one of the sides on the inside of his bum.  It was red and glossy. Sorry to be so detailed but I am wondering if its just a hemrrhoid.

Thanks

Gina

Sounds like one, does he have a history of constipation?

Compared to me as a child, no.  His poops are always soft.

Then it is rather unusual and I would take him to the doctor.
