Little One's ?

I have a question about potty traning.......Once you started PTing, How long did it take for your son/daug. to "get the hang of it" Like when were they not having any more accidents and or letting you know when they had to go??

We threw all pull ups and diapers and went straight to underwear. DD had about an accident a day for the first week- 10 days and maybe a handful of accidents during the night over the next 6 months and that was it.  To me, that was pretty smooth.

I'm sure you figured out that I meant to say that we threw away not we threw.

I'm trying to get my ds to sit on the potty with no pants on! He's 18 months and he'll sit on his little potty clothed and even just  a diaper - but not bare bottom!  Any advice is welcome!!!
We got a little off track since DH had surgery last Friday, but I'm hoping to get him back into the habit of sitting on the potty on Monday.....
