24 days late now&10 neg pts

hi guys wow all great posts!! And they all sound like me! I am 23 days late for my period , And i have taken about 10 hpts and all negative! It seems like everyone i talk to about this says well then your not pregnant duh..But i know i am...i am always always on time every month! Even the nurse @ planned parenthood couldnt possibly think i was pregnant because it came up negative! And obviously by the way every one is talking here that it is possibl;e to be preg  and not show a positive result yet. Right? I mean is it possible to show no HCG in your urine and still be preg? I think im gonna go to the ER tommarrow and ask for a blood test, do you think they will do one, and if so will i get the results rite there or will i have to wait a couple days? God its just driving me crazy! I am not under any stress , i am not taking any new meds, what else could it possibly be? Thats what i would like to know, if its not stress, not new meds, and not pregnant, then what could possibly be wrong with us? Ok im done rambling, hope to hear from some1 very soon. Hope everyone is doin great.
P.S.
Geez this thread started in 2005! Thats crazy, i wonder what happened with everyone, it seems noone really came back and said what the prob was or if they were in fact pregnant.

It is possible for you to be pregnant and a hpt to show up negative. I was two months pregnant with my son before one showed up positive.

i know people who have took a test when they were pregnant and it came up neg till about 3 moths after they missed their first period and had a u/s and turned out she was pregnant. she knew she was too. you know your body better than anyone else.
hope you get the result you want!

I had the same thing happen to me. I was not pregnant. However I had a false positive test. I went to the doctor and they did the blood test and lo and behold I wasnt pregnant. . You may not be gettin your period for numerous reasons however you should be checked to make sure theres not something wrong with your baby maker. Good luck to you and let me know how it turns out !

at 24 days past your last period you should have well and truly enough HcG in your system to show up in urine tests.  I think that you should get the blood test tho, as it sounds like you need confirmation.  And as Kim says, if you see a doctor you can get everything checked out.
There can be a million and one reasons not to get your period on time - I didnt' have a period once for 6 months - and no I wasnt pregnant - it was just stress and I was exercising a lot and for whatever reason my body decided that it wasnt a good time to be trying to reproduce.
I had a friend once who actually was diagnosed with a "phantom pregnancy" - she was sure she was pregnant, had no period and had all the symptoms.  It went away by itself... but was pretty sad for her - you could try googling it (sorry i dont' know much more about it)
good luck,
ps keep us posted so we know what happens :)
