39 weeks pregnant

I am 39 weeks pregnant and when I go to the bathroom it's like I have to wait and push several times just to urinate.  It's uncomfortable.  Maybe the baby is just pushing alot and blocking the way of urination.  I don't know, but you should not have to sit on the toilet for an hour just to pee.  When will she come out of my stomach?!

I agree with AnnieBrooke, try leaning side to side or forwards. It is very common in later pregnancies for the baby to cause a temporary blockage of urine. Dr's office at this point see you weekly and I'm sure they've tested your urine and it's ok. Not much longer to go, best wishes to you!

Oh a UTI sounds awful.  I am not having any burning or bad pain, just discomfort.  I will ask my doctor about that on my appointment this Friday or sooner if I see any symptoms but honestly I am hoping not to have to make that appointment.  Hopefully, my baby will be out before then.  :-)  It's almost like she's having a fine time just living in my stomach.  I told her if she comes out, I promise she'll like the ouside just world just as well.  She does not seem to care what I say, I can talk to her all I want to convince her to come out and she'll stay right there.  Wouldn't it be cool if the "stork" theory was true.  No pregnancy, just the baby.

Orrrrr it could be a urinary tract infection (UTI). Mention it to your doc. I had one and it was kinda like that.

Try leaning forward when you pee.  It may take the weight of the baby off your bladder.
