4 days til AF and Ovaries feel like they are burning

I am four days before expected AF (I expect it on 9/14/07).....But my ovaries, or atleast where they are on my body, are burning. I dont know why they are burning, but it is like a dull achey burn feeling. And it feels very weird since this is not a PMS system I normally experience.
Anyone got any ideas?

I have recently started getting this symptom (burning ovaries) as well.  It's quite bizarre.  I have no idea what it causing it but glad to see someone else out there knows how I feel.

I dont know what it is or why it is happening, but it still hasn't went away. I thought that maybe it was something I ate or something like that. I am going to call the doctor in the morning if it hasn't gotten any better.

Both ovaries don't usually do the same thing in a given month.  One will ovulate while the other takes a break, and then the other will ovulate when the first one takes a break, on alternate months.  So it's not too likely that both ovaries would burn the same month.  Maybe it is another organ that is causing the pain.  Women on this site talk about their gall bladder or kidneys as being achey (when they are having problems with them).  If it were me, I'd call my doctor and get checked.  Good luck!
