Yes I will have to start going to a specialist(high risk) as well as my reg OB I think they are going to start me on the same thing you were on.I'm so glad everything work out for you. I go for my 2nd sono tomorrow and then if all is ok w/ the sono I think he will be sending me to the high risk to start me on the blood thinner. I will let you both know how things went by tomorrow night thanks for your support.

I as well can relate to you. I don't have what you had but I did have the mthfr mutation gene as well as 2 blood clotting disorders( protien def. c and protien def. s, which makes your blood  clot to easy).
This was found out after I had miscarried a lil girl at almost 6 mnths(they think a blood clot got in the cord). I had to be on a  baby aspirin everyday and take shots of Lovenox everyday. At first I had to give them to myself in my stomach, then towards the end I had to do them on my legs. What kind of blood thinner are they putting you on, do you know yet? They did sting a lil bit, and they left big bruises all over my stomach and legs. But in the end it was all worth it.
Are you going to be going to a specialits as well as your Ob? I had to go to my Ob everyweek and my specialtist everyweek as well(had many problems)...I loved going to the specialits  b/c every other week I would get the 3-d sono's done, they are so  unbelivable.
Good luck to you hun and if you need anything let me know.

Hi..I can't say I know exactly what you're going through...but kind of.  i'm about 12 weeks pregnant and I have CML, which is a type of leukemia.  I realize it's not lupus, but definitely having a diganosis of something and being pregnant is scary.  I am doing well though and still in the chronic phase, which doesn't mean much only that i'm ok.  It sounds like you have a good doctor who knows what he/she is talking about.  As long as you follow your doctor's advice, i'm sure things will be ok.  I look at it this way, CML is just something i'm living with....it's not something i'm afflicted with.  I relaize their is no cure for lupus, but it is a very manageable illness...at least that's my understanding.  I know it's also confusing about what meds you can take, etc when you're pregnant...but your doctor will know that too.  I hope everything works out for you and I'm praying for a happy, healthy pregnancy for you!  Let me know if you need anything and hang in there.
