Abnormal cramping mean something?

Every time i get my period i always have severe cramps up to two weeks before my period, and the cramps just lead to painful and very heavy, unbearable periods. Does this mean anything serious? What’s the cause of severe cramps and heavy periods?

Since you say abnormal, this sounds like it IS your normal pattern.  This isn't new, right?  Some women just have it a little worse than others.  Have you talked to your doctor about this? I don't think it is anything to worry about other than being a big pain, but run it by your doctor to be sure.  Some women do have harmless but burdensome ovarian cysts that cause more cramping and bleeding.  Anyway, they may opt to try you on the pill to see if that makes it easier on you.  so, talk to your doctor!
