Am i pregnant?

Hi! I would like to know if anybody can tell me about bbt, I have been checking my body temp every morning and last month I got the right pattern, first two weeks lower temp and then it dropped and rise again which I supposed I ovulated but I didn't get my period I don't know if is because I only have one ovary and i have had my menses every 53 days, on day 28 my temp dropped to 96.0 again so I tought my period is comming but nothing, I also tested my LH just in case and the two lines came very, very similiar and we had intercorse just in case. For the last 8 days my temp has been rising a lot. My temp are ussually low between 95.8 to 97.1 which it was the highest on the luteal phase, now my temp is at 97.8 and is not dropping. Could I be pregnant? any help will be great I am going crazy since this could be our first child after trying for 4 yrs. Thanks in advance.

sorry! but I forgot to mention that when I tested my LH the lines came very similiar for 3 days the first day was the closest, after that my LH hardly shows any line on the test side. Does my LH suppossed to be high when pregnant?

Maybe, maybe not. I think that part of charting is really unreliable. I used to think it was just me, but I have recently talked to folks who noticed consistenly higher temperatures toward the end of their cycles and assumed pregnancy. In all cases, it was a false sign. I think it takes very little to nudge your temps up in the post-o stage.

I am beginning to think charting is only good for ovulation detection!
