Analgesic & Emergency BCP

Hi, just wondering if I can take an emergency bcp when I've ingested an analgesic drug (sinutab) 4 hours ago?

HI,
Drug interactions are known to occur. Hence it is better to give a gap of at least 8 hours between two different drugs. Hence you can delay taking the emergency BCP by another four hours.
The answer is based on information provided. Exact advice is not possible without a proper examination and investigations. You are requested to consult your Doctor. Take care and keep us posted.

Hello,
There are no reported interactions between emergency contraceptives and Sinutab. If more than 72 hours have passed after the act of unprotected intercourse then you can take these drugs together.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
