Anyone else have high energy level on first day of period?

tmv
On the first day of my period for many years now, I have lots of energy.Day 3 is usually the bad crampy day. I know that hormones are to be credited for this, but does anyone else have this or can explain more in detail about it. I am usually fatigued every day except this day. I also am in a very good mood. Is this like pms in reverse or what? I'd be grateful for any comments on this. Thank you in advance.

I can't explain it but I feel especially "amorous" on the first day of my period - go figure!

I'm the freak everyone hates. I have energy all through af and never get cramps nor pms. And, ditto to the above post. For some reason, that time of month I am alway in the mood.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I always have heard of the bad things of pms and the such, thought I was all alone on this one. Maybe we can work it out with the dr's somehow to get the hormone boost of whichever-progesterone, estrogen or whatever is responsible for this to occur all month long-without the af!  I really thought there was something wrong with my hormones. Thank you so much.

I usually feel crampy and bloated a week before and on the first day, but for the rest of my period, besides a few cramps here and there, I feel more awake and energized and I generally feel better...I thought it was weird too, I thought I should feel like ****, but i usually feel better!
