Anyone else use Seasonique (Birth Control)?

I just started using Seasonique (used to be called Seasonal) Dec 19,2006 and I'm hoping there will be some ladies on here that can provide me with some feed back. I was hoping I would be able to read the insert that was supposed to come with the filled prescription, but the pharmacy didn't include it in the bag. Anywho, can anyone tell me if they had swollen, sore breast and sore nipples when they first started taking this type of bc? My stomach is also a little tender to the touch. I'm just wanting to see if anyone else experienced these side effects when first starting this type of bc. I used to use the Nuva Ring prior to the switch. Also, for those of you who have been using this type of bc for awhile, how do you like it? I'm still trying to get used to taking a pill daily, I've only had to double up twice so far. Thanks in advance for your feed back.

Basically, all birth control sounds like it *****. I had really bad periods before [they lasted 14 days, were super heavy, and I had horrible cramps], so I asked to be put on bc. Now, halfway through the second month, I am bleeding everyday and I've had cramps all day everyday and no matter what I take or do they won't go away [for the past two weeks]. I'm not sure if I should finish up the packet and find something else, or just suffer with getting my period once a month.

Hello everyone. I have been on and off and on and off Seasonique for almost 3 years now. I have tried other things to because I am taking it for Endometriosis. Very painful diease that I live with every day. It's not helping to stop my period anymore and I have horrible headaches every day and some musle problems. Taking it this long might not be a "good" thing anymore. Periods and craps are so damn bad I cry and hurts to walk. Heck laying on the couch hurts. Heating pad does help some times but nothing helps forever. If you dont have problems at first with it if you take it as long as I have you most likely will. The Depo shot closed up my ovaires and kept my eggs from coming out and when I had my 3rd stomach surgery my doctor had to drill into my ovaries so they could work again. I dont want kids of my own. Kind of afraid to for few different reasons but two main ones could give endo to my child. I'd be afraid of watching them go through what I do and two if I cant even take of myself and I am in bed most of the time then how can I take care of a child who needs me almost 24/7. So I cant do that not only to me sense my health ***** but it would be unfair to the child. My doctor wants me to have a child cuz says it would help. NO IT WONT! He is an idiot. It wont cure it so dont think that. IT WONT! Right now I am looking for something else and if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I could use all the help I can get. Thanks for reading and for your tme.

I've been on Seasonique for 9 weeks and have had bleeding for six.  I am soo tired of this!! Does anyone know soon after Seasonique can I start a new pill.  I have a new prescription, but I'm afraid to not take anything for a few days and I might ovulate.  My doctor told me to stop and then start on Sunday.  Can I just go from one pill to the other the next day?

Thanks for all the posts. I have been on seasonique for 6 weeks now and havent had one day where I didnt bleed. The last few weeks it has just been getting heavier and heavier. So miserable!! I called my doctor today and they told me that it is "normal" and to stick it out, and that if I wanted to change to another pill that I would have to schedule another office visit! I dont have the money for that and I cant understand why they would need me to come in just to write me a script for the pill I was on prior to this..
Also after reading this forum I have realized that some of the things that I have been experiencing recently that I was chalking up to just stress may actually be symptoms of of this pill. Hair loss, headaches, I had a panic attack at work last week and I havent had one in over 8 years, having unusually ichy skin that lotion just doesnt help, blood pressure gone up...
I have decided not to take one more pill! I also am going to find a different MD as well. I know that different things work for defferent people.. Seasonique is NOT for me. I just hope that my bleeding finally stops once I quite this pill.
