Hi,

I just had this in may and it was not fun..i almost died on june first because I thought I could get rid of it without antibiotics but instead it developed into PID(pelvic inflamatory disease). You need doxyciline..that's what they gave me and it worked although the side affects suck. You will be very nauseas when taking this medicine. Please dont be like me and make the same mistake. Go to the doctor and get help right away because this is nothing to play with. Think about it a bacteria in your genital area..that's inside of your body. That's not good! Go get doxyciline.

Good luck,
Irenia :)

AND VERY IMPORTANT..DO NOT DOUCHE YOUR VAGINA WHILE HAVING BV IT IS DANGEROUS.

You can try eating natural yogurt or taking a bath with cider vinegar. These should help to kill the bacteria, but if they don't, you should be seen. BV can cause a whole mess of problems including infertility if left untreated.
