Birth Control..

So Yeah this is probably a stupid question but...

If I start my period early, should I start taking the reminder pills, or just keep taking the pills normally?

It seems like taking the reminder pills when I'm not on my period would just be a bad idea..

last time i was on b/c pills(ortho-tricylclen) my obgyn said they were only placebo pills(right name?!) and that i did not have to take those, b/c they do nothing...however, i learned my 1st month of skipping those pills, that i would forget to take the "real" ones...lol...so i just took them in order, and i survived lol...

It doesn't matter at all when you get your period. In order for your bc to be effective, you need to keep taking your pills continuously and in order/as prescribed, regardless of whatever happens.

Your probably just having breakthrough bleeding.  You need to keep on the same schedule with your pills.
