Blood packets in my period

Hi. I've tried looking it up but I've never been able to get a striaght answer. While on my period I get these blood like packet things. I was told they are suppose to be the size of a pea but mine are the size of quarters and those peanuts in their cases. Is this normal? This has happened ever since I first started having a period. I'm 19 if that means anything.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to endometriosis. Endometriosis is the growth of cells similar to those that form the inside of the uterus (endometrial cells), but in a location outside of the uterus.Symptoms of endometriosis include pelvic pain(usually before menstruation but sometimes during intercourse, urination or defecation), sometimes diarrhea or constipation, irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding, sometimes blood in the urine and inability to conceive.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
