Braxton-hicks contractions

Hey all.  Hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday.  I am 21 weeks prego and have been having braxton-hicks contractions.  They aren't painful, it just feels like someone is squeezing the air out of me.  Just wondering if its normal to start this early, as I don't remember when they started with my 1st baby.  I have my next ob visit on Tuesday so I am going to ask the dr. then. Just wondering if it's something to be concerned about or if other people have had this experience.  thanks.

Dont worry they do start early. You dont have  to take anything it's normal to feel this way. I had them from 21 weeks as well though to the end and i also thought I was in labour a number of times due to the fact they felt really harsh. But then i would time them and they were not real.  You can take some tynol and that shopuld dull the pain a bit.

I am 24 weeks pregnant and experienced braxton hicks for the first time few days back... My doc has prescribed RITROD... but am not sure about taking that as it produces heart palpitations which I am really scared of... can anyone please suggest an alternative?

I just started having braxton hicks contractions at 31 wks, yesterday actually was the first time.  They are in my lower abdomen and feel like cramps, but they are throughout the day, and aren't that many of them. I had maybe 3 today and yesterday they were throughout.

I started feeling braxton-hicks with my second right around the same time.  They weren't painful until around the last month or so for me.  My doc told me you tend to feel them earlier and stronger the more pregnancies you have.
