Brown vaginal discharge after starting Zoloft

Hello. I also posted this question in the Depression community, but not sure which category it really falls under. I just started Zoloft two days ago for depression. Today, I'm noticing brown vaginal discharge. I am nowhere near a period (I have been skipping them with my birth control pills due to other unrelated issues). From my brief searching online, this doesn't seem like a typical side effect of Zoloft. I was wondering if anybody else taking an SSRI has noticed this as a side effect or if I should be looking into other possible causes. I take my pill like clockwork and haven't had this discharge any other time. Thank you. :)

That would be a highly unlikely side effect of Zoloft.  However, our hormones respond to changes such as if you've been stressed, depressed, sick, changed your routine, lost or gained weight, etc.  I'd say your hormones are reacting to things going on causing you to spot but that it isn't a side effect of your Zoloft.  good luck
