How big is it? Could be an ingrown hair if its about the size of a zit or a lil bigger than a zit. That happens more where the underwear lining rubs more. Have you recently shaved? I suppose if it looks normal, and not like dark brown/red like a popped blood vessel/blister, it will go away. I am no doctor though.

I have the same thing and they are not comfortable. I'm so sorry! I've been to the doctor multiple times. The general idea is that they are harmless except for the discomfort they cause. Sometimes they can get infected and I know I've been tested for staff each time I went in. It's always been negative so this could be true for you, too. Bottom line, go have it checked to make sure you don't have an infection. If you do it's just antibiotics. Mine starting when I was about fourteen and comes and goes. Honestly not wearing underwear or wearing the kind that doesn't rub really helps keep then from coming back. A warm compress or hot bath can help them go away, too. I hope this helps!

Hi there.  Sorry you are having this difficulty.  Is it sore?  Does it feel hot to the touch?
