Oh, that's good.
Relax a bit and enjoy the little one dear.
I am glad your Dr. appt went well
i dont blame you for being anxious. Try and relax and just follow up with DR.
Thanks for letting us know how appt. went :)
hang in there :)
Thank you Conhall and londres70! I'm feeling better today...the bumps look smaller as well and are not sore. trying to calm down and get myself back to normal.
Well....I can't blame you for feeling a bit anxious about all this being that you are a new mother and all dear......completely understandable.
I am going to agree with the physician about this is not Herpes dear. I have seen so many cases of Herpes and your description doesn't match Herpes. I am sure you are still dealing with a bit of swelling especially after experiencing a 3rd degree tear........which I have seen before and they are awful to see and definitely awful for the patient to experience. Perhaps after a few more weeks this will all subside.
I was also thinking this could Bartholin's cysts or Bartholin's glands irritated from all the manipulation.
Hang in there.....I don't think this is anything sinister, but more uncomfortable.
Went to ob/gyn today. He said 99%sure not herpes and doesn't think we need to test anything. Going back in week and half for 6 week check up and he will check again then. I have never had any symptoms like a break out before and neither has husband. If did get it...it would have been over 5 years ago...so probably not very likely I would have an outbreak 5 years later right? Especially as no initial outbreak, pretty mild symptoms now, and not your typical symptoms (which I suppose is why dr is 99% sure not herpes). I thought I would feel better after dr confirmed he didn't think was herpes but I am still obsessing. Ii think I'm having post partum anxiety/ OCD.
Definitely sound like cysts......NOT Herpes in my opinion.
Have you informed your physician; your OB/GYN?
inclusion cysts are caused by trauma to the vaginal walls. For example, women may get an inclusion cyst after they have an episiotomy (a surgical cut used to enlarge the vaginal opening during childbirth) or when they have surgery that damages the lining of the vagina.
