Can a UTI cause vaginal itching?

Hello,
I just took an AZO test and it came back positive. I have read that UTI's don't have itching as part of the symptom. Has anyone heard of a UTI causing itching?

Thank you.

Thank you for responding. I went to Planned Parenthood yesterday and they said I had a UTI. They gave me antibiotics. The itching has not gone away yet, but the other symptoms have.

Hey,

UTI's cause all sorts of things. Think about it - its bacteria in your urinary tract. How close is your pee hole to your vagina? HEAPS CLOSE. I had a UTI a few months ago and everything hurt like nuts for a looong time, and yes it was itchy. And I definitely dont have any STDs or anything.

Itching is normal.
