Thanks for getting this answered for us, and bbuzz for the reply. I almost went to a chiropractor in Mississauga before reading this. Guess I should stop by the dentist first.
Thanks for our information. I'll pass it on to my daughter. Her dentist suggested she try Alleve to help reduce the inflamatory part and it seems to be helping some. I appreciate your taking time to write.
It does not fix the problem, because they can only adjust the neck and shoulders but not the jaw itself. I have seen chiropractors in the past for tmj, and it did not help at all. I am seeing a dentist who has applied a mouth piece to adjust my jaw, and he told me not to see a chiropractor until he was finished adjusting my jaw. Because what the chiropractor will do is adjust the shoulders and neck that were out of adjustment from the jaw. And once the jaw is back in the proper relaxed position, then I can see a chiropracter to readjust the neck and shoulders that were so tight because of jaw clenching.
