Clear gooey stuff in my underwear...

I'm 13 and I haven't started my period. But I have white/clear, gooey, smelly, stuff in my underwear that kinda looks like mucus. When it dries it is hard and it keeps happening and it builds up and leaves layers the gooey stuff.
Help please!:/

That is totally normal and is just puberty and you getting older. Every women when they reach puberty....and up until menopause has a vaginal discharge. It's different at different stages during your cycle (when you start your period) So don't worry it's totally normal. Unless you start to itch in that area, and it turns lumpy or a strange colour (green or something) and/or smells horrible - these all indicate an infection (which again are normal and every women is bound get one at some point).

It's all normal usually it's white, yellow, or clear and it can come in different amounts but if it starts to itch or your vaginal area gets red you might want to see a doctor if it gets to bother or it stains your underwear start wearing a panty liner it really helps and you can get them almost anywhere it's just all puberty and it's a sign of you starting your period soon it may come in 6-12 months maybe even sooner it usually comes when your about to start your period, pregnant, or when you have gotten your period and it's called a discharge all just life
Tip:you may want to carry around a pad just in case

All girls get this. your perfectly normal! its just our body's way of getting rid of all the bad stuff! every girl gets it, some more than others. should only worry if this starts to smell. but you could always wear a panty liner if you are feeling uncomfortable.

yeah it all depends on you, your body, and sometime even your family history. I started when I was ten and so did my mom, sister and a few of my aunts

Hard to tell....this can start and it can be more than a year before you see your period (this was the case with me) or it could be months. There is no way to tell, just part of growing up and puberty!

it's completely normal especially with girls who have their periods or about to start having periods. if it's itchy, then you need to see your doctor because you might have a yeast infection. if not then it's most likely just the normal steps of of puberty and your body preparing for periods
