Coming off Yasmin

Hi all,
I am sorry if this has been posted before but haven't had a chance to read through the different questions.  After much consideration, I have decided to come off Yasmin after having been on it for the past 10 years.  I have been reading up on the side effects of coming off Yasmin and now I am a little concerned.  I already struggle with my weight (being insulin resistant also doesn't help) and I have BP disorder.  I cannot afford to pick up weight and struggle with moods so I am really afraid of what may be coming my way should I go off the pill.  I want to lose weight so that when my husband and I decide to have children, I will be in a better physical shape to avoid strain on my body.  I also want to come off of it for medical history purposes - thrombosis that runs in m family etc. Can anyone offer a bit more insight for coming off the pill?  What i can expect?  Is it really worth it?  I have read that so many women are much happier being off the pill than what they were when they were on it and wouldn't go back on it again.  I would really appreciate any advice or insight.  Thank you in advance.
