Constant Blood clotting for 3 weeks

I really need answers about this problem, if anyone out there has had this happen to them and could fill me on what causes this that would be great. I got my period 3weeks ago and since, iv'e been having light bright red blood cycles and getting really huge blood clots passing everytime i wake up,go for baths or showers and everytime i go to the toilet. i pass well over 15 small stringy to palm sized dry thick clots every hour or so a day.its quite disgusting some times when i go for a pee and wipe cause there is always stringy clots with small egg looking things attached to the clots.they almost look like passion fruit seeds but red/white and smaller. iv'e been feeling tired a lot and iv'e recently lost my appetite for food. since having this problem iv'e lost 15kgs within the 3weeks of having my period.last period i had was not as bad with the blood cloting and weight loss like it is now,but that last period was 6months ago. so i'm just wondering if it could be a build up of not having my period for so long that has caused this to happen or if its a early sign of some sort of mass in my uterus.i am really scared.I have an appointment next week with my gp and i hope i get some sort of diagnosis for my problem before then.thank you.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
You seem to be having the symptoms of metrorrhagia(heavy periods).Various factors causing it are endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, hormone imbalance, endometrial hyperplasia, polyps, use of IUD’s and depo shots, sexually transmitted diseases,PCOS and benign and malignant pathologies of the uterus. Get it evaluated from your gynecologist to confirm the diagnosis.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thank you for that info.it is annoying having these period problems right.i had a feeling it must have something to do with a build up of blood from not having my period for so long.i hope your gynecologist was right about it being normal and not something to worry about.i really hope my gp says the same too.i just got worried cause constantly having these blood clots was terrifying.they don't hurt their just annoying and well concerning when you think about the loss of blood and clots aye.i will let you know as soon as my gp gives a diagnoses.hopefully it will help with yours aswell. It helped a lot thanks, Bless You.

Hey sorry to hear that I have been going trough heavy bleeding problems myself with clots and when I spoke to my gynecologist yesterday he said it was normal and what happens is that the blood sometimes takes too long to come out so it has time to coagulate a d form clots, he stated that he has seen clots the sizes or oranges and that it was nothing to worry because it was most likely old blood that needed to come out, but I do t know about the white part you were talking about. Let me know what your dr says to see if both have the same thoughts!!!! I hope this helps and I hope you get better soon!!! God bless!
