Cyst

I had a Mammogram this year in Feb was called back for a compressed mammogram and a ultra sound. They couldn't tell what it was since they couldn't feel a lump. So they told me I needed a breast  bio with a guided ultrasound, When the surgeon did test it showed it was a Cyst he said it No more tested needed it was drained on the spot, he redid the ultrasound and showed me it was gone. They called for 6 month recheck is this normal? Am scared

Many years ago now, at least ten years, I had a mammogram and a lump
was discovered . The lump turned out to be a cyst. A breast surgeon
drained the cyst. I wasn't even asked back for a 6 month check. Don't
be scared. You're fortunate your hospital is calling you back for a recheck.
I wish you well. Eve

Yes that is normal to keep an eye out to make sure no more cysts or anything else has returned.
