Delaying a Period

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for delaying a period? Mines not going to be until August 7 but I have something important August 8. I've tried looking at websites and online but there are a lot of mixed results. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The only way it may work is with monophasic birth control pills but you would've had to start them already months ago. Your next menstrual cycle is already in progress at this time and there is nothing you can do to stop it anymore. Even if you got on the pill tomorrow, based on where you're at in the cycle, it wouldn't have any effect so you'll just have to have your period as scheduled.

The only other option is tranexamic acid which can sometimes help with lessening the amount of bleeding during your period. For some women it works well but for others not so much. It's only available with a prescription so you'll need to ask your gyne about it.
