I just returned from my pre-op sonogram before I undergoe a lap. My doc said there were no cyst and tha t both ovaries looked good. Has anyone had a good sonogram reading but still been diagnosed with endometriosis?

I posted to you on the other forum as well. My scan also came out good but still opted for the lap as I was miserable. Doctor found the endometriosis, scar tissue and adhesions as well as multiple cysts.

wow, the realities of eerything are kicking, in. I thought I would ask, because i assumed that if I had no cyst showing that i am ok. But i did not account for my other symptoms, Pain with IC, left and right ab pain, cramping, spotting , irregular and painful cycles. I have the works. I have had cyst in the past, so it is good that i do not have any as of today, but you are right I do need to find out what is going on, afteral, my dr. did not cancel the surgery.

I put off having a lap. for nine months and everything was clear.  So my last resort was having one.  It turned out I had stage 3 endo. behind my uterus and there was no other way of knowing.  I'm glad I had the lap. I just wish I would have had it sooner.
