Do you have to shave your pubic hair??

I've heard of people shaving their pubic hair but I'm 14 and don't know if I'm supposed to or not.

Hey, period underwear should just be old panties you don't care about that could get all sorts of stained and you'd just shrug at. And if you're going to try to shave your pubic hair for bikini season USE A FRESH BLADE. By using a worn out or even week old blade you increase your chances of razor burn and run the risk of introducing bacteria to that more sensitive skin which will also cause annoying bumps. They sell bikini cream at CVS that makes those bumps go away though, just read the instructions carefully. For real though, you don't have to shave down there. If you want to, go for it, even just to try it out and see what you like. Your body, your rules.

As to the dreaded pubic hair question, it's perfectly reasonable to 'trim' yourself up.  Take some little scissors and carefully trim it down.  You don't have to shave it but you can keep it neat.  good luck

Watch YouTube videos like period life hacks and stuff like that. They have helped me so much. Talk to your friends about what they do if they have already had theirs as it may be useful. If you wear a skirt o school wear bike pants over your underwear. Winged pads are always best as they don't slip around. Get the smallest tampons possible when you first try them. If pains are bad take some panadol in the morning x
Ok thanks

Maybe a size smaller and a dark colour as it being smaller will be tight and keep it in place and darker so if you stain it won't be very visible after being washed x

No. Especially not at your age. Just leave it alone until you're an adult and worry about it then. It's totally not worth fussing with it until then.
