Does Monistat cause estrogen/swelling in the clitoris?

At first I used Monistat 1 for my yeast infection and started feeling a lot of arousal in my clitoris it was so bad that it hurt. I went to the doctor the next day and my doctor said I should use Monistat 3 and she prescribed me antibiotics. My clitoris is still a little swollen after the third tube. It feels worse when I think about it, which I try not to do, but I suffer from an anxiety disorder. This will really help put my mind at ease. I know it’s not PGAD because I would have had the symptoms for months. It only started when I used Monistat 1

Well, the ovules go inside your vagina, so I doubt it.  Irritation inside your vagina, I could buy into although I've had great luck with monostat.  And it would not affect your estrogen levels.  However, what were you on antibiotics for (yeast is not treated with antibiotics)---  BV or what other type of infection and what antibiotic was it?  It's possible to get cellitis in that area which is basically a staph infection that made it's way into a tiny spot on the skin's surface and infected below the skin surface.  It's usually painful too but it can cause swelling.  Antibiotics used for BV are different than used for that.  if it doesn't go down, then call your doctor.  Remember too, ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory and decreases swelling.  So, take some of that if you aren't.  good luck
