Does waist training work if you are an adult?

Hi! So for some context I'm 24 years old female and while I'm thin (53 kilograms) I have 0 waist, my body is like wood plank, no boobs, no ass, no waist. I have a 24.8 inches waist and no belly fat, so I was wondering if waist training would work on me? Or is it just for people who are looking to loose weight? is it too late to start since I'm an adult?

Thanks for reading

It seems like the corset you're wondering about (let's call it what it is) only would give a defined shape when you are wearing it, it's not something that changes the shape of your body. And sheez, women in 1890s just slayed their digestive processes by wearing corsets all the time, not to mention those that laced so tight that it moved their internal organs around. 24 inches is a small waist by today's standards, you really don't need to go smaller.

Possibly you would do better to try to gain a bit of weight so you'd develop some boobs and ass, rather than try to do 'waist training' to have your waist go in further. Is it hard for you to gain weight?

If your goal is to permanently change the shape of your body, waist trainers don't work for anyone.  You cannot change the shape of your body by forcing it into a certain shape, and you could cause damage: https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/what-you-need-to-know-about-waist-trainers
