Dry, burning, and itching. need advice

I've been here once before for the same thing last july. I'm having burning and and dryness down there. my period hasnt come in a while, but I've never had sex so I'm not pregnant. the skin down there is very fragile and is bleeding easily. it's been like this now for a week or two, and my anxiety about it is skyrocketing, and the pain is awful to deal with too. im so uncomfortable...im 18 by the way, afraid to talk to my mom about this. our relationship isnt the best but i cant get to a doctor on my own. i know i should see a doctor at this point. would i be able to go to my normal doctor about this by the way? i have so much anxiety and i kind of need to be told everything to feel okay. any ideas of what this is, and what do i need to do to get it checked? and...what does getting it checked entail..
oh yeah, and im not having any discharge, i dont think its internal, because any bleeding is outside, theres a place on my labia that i think might be damaged? it causes me the most pain...
sorry, and thank you for any responses, i feel like a terrified child all on my own about this

Hi, I'm sorry your having these issues.  Do you have any white patches in the area? Have you tried vaseline or A&D ointment to soothe and moisturize?  Could be yeast or bacterial vaginitis.

I agree with the above. It puts a little protective element to it and keeps germs out to put Vaseline on it.  but overall, get it looked at.  Other things like cortisone can aggravate it.  But since you don't have discharge, it makes yeast or bv less of a concern.  Yeast almost always has discharge. However, I guess if it does have some white there, it could be on your skin.  BV almost always has a foul odor.

i havent seen any type of discharge, on my skin or anywhere else, which makes me more worried. i havent noticed any different smells from normal, but i think theres a cut somewhere. or it just feels like my skin down...there is weak. ive bled a couple times now, nothing huge but i am concerned, well, more scared than anything. to get it checked out id have to overcome my anxiety, which seems impossible right now, but i will try

I know it is hard sometimes to take that step.  But in this case, you need to.  It is likely an easy explanation.  The reason Vaseline was recommended is because it creates a bit of a barrier.  That's a moist area so it is hard to heal and that also would keep germs out.  Are you sexually active?  Is this after sex?  There is a cream that they give women who have had babies that helps too that they may prescribe for you.  But it's not anything serious and more of a pain. So, just take a deep breath.  You can do a full pap smear/pelvic exam that women should have done on a regular basis and do it then.   Docs don't care about this stuff . . . they see it all day long.  hang in there.  hugs
